WILLIMANTIC — Eastern Connecticut State University’s 22nd annual Accounting Fair brought more than a dozen accounting firms to campus on October 1, the university reported October 5.
More than 100 students attended to meet prospective employers and learn about careers in the field. Eastern’s account also describes alumni returning as representatives of accounting firms.
The event offered students direct contact with employers, but attendance should not be interpreted as a job offer. The university report does not establish how many internships or permanent positions resulted.
Students interested in follow-up opportunities should consult Eastern’s career services and individual employers for current vacancies and application requirements.
